Leave the PARAM menu by pressing the ESC key once. Then press the softkey RECORD to enter the
programming menu of the Timeline section. The following display will be shown:
The individual softkey have the following function:
M-CLR: deletes a marker
M-ADD: adds a marker
PLAY: plays the show from the start
PLAY: plays the show from a defined point in time
A-PLAY: plays the show within the programmed loop
FADE: enters the fade time
LOOP: activates the loop function
TRACK-/+: selects individual tracks
FRAME -/+: shifts the timeline forward or backward
ZOOM-/+: increases or reduces the time unit on the
display
M-CLR:
On the display in line „M“, up to 20 graphical markers can be set with the M-ADD key. These markers are
deleted simultaneously by pressing the softkey M-CLR.
M-ADD:
The softkey M-ADD is used to set graphical markers for orientation. A total of 20 markers are possible. To
set the markers, press the softkey M-ADD at the desired passages when the track is played.
PLAY:
The softkey PLAY starts and stops the timeline show.
Start: press the softkey PLAY once (displayed inverted on the display).
Stop: press the softkey PLAY again.
Important: If you start the show with the softkey PLAY, the track always starts from the beginning
(„00:00:00“).
-->PLAY:
This softkey starts the track from the passage, which is currently selected. It is also used to switch
forward from a loop.
A-Play:
The loop that you have set in the CD-Player menu will be played, when the softkey A-Play is pressed in
the Record menu. This softkey is also actived when a loop is programmed in the Record menu.
FADE:
With the softkey FADE, fade times are assigned to cues. If fade times have already been programmed for
a cues, you can change this fade time with the softkey FADE.
There are two possibilities to change the fade time:
Firstly:
If the softkey LOOP is activated while you are programming in the Record menu, you can read the current
fade time of the programmed cue directly off the display. You can change the fade time with the left
encoder wheel (FADE -/+).
Secondly:
Important: the softkey LOOP must not be activated here (display not inverted). Press and hold the softkey
FADE. Press and hold the cue key in addition. The fade time is determined by the time that you hold the
key pressed simultaneously.
LOOP:
The Loop function is activated, when the corresponding field is shown inverted on the display.
The Loop function is described in detail in Chapter 22.2 Entering basic parameters for timeline
programming (LOOP).
